Fused glass ornaments. These pretty fused glass ornaments are great for catching the sun when hanging in a window. they are also fun when put on a holiday tree when backed by some twinkle lights. The white diamond shaped ornament has an image of Tacoma, Mt Rainier and a writhing octopus supports it all. Blue round has the same imagery and the green round has our original Tacoma Octopus design. Each has a copper ring with which you can hang it up.

Fused glass is a fascinating process. In this case the image is printed using old style print toner, the image is then sandwiched between two pieces of glass. this is also when the copper ring is placed. Once all pieces are together they are then put into a glass kiln. During the firing process the paper burns away but the carbon image stays behind. The copper ring becomes embedded into the fused glass. Or glass uses our imagery and is made in Tacoma by Dirk's Werks Art.
